Hi

Is in-line annealing preferred as a standard for copper rod drawing from 8mm to 1.6mm in RBD machines?

What will be the effects in successive stages of copper wire in intermediate or fine drawing processing if annealing is done? Will it reduce the wire breaks and increase the throughput at the next stage.

The copper used is electrolytic.
